I was hit with severe sciatica on January 8, 2015. The MRI showed that I had a slight protrusion from a disc that was affecting my sciatic nerve. The neurosurgeon said that surgery was not necessary and ordered physical therapy. I began the therapy on February 11. Although I improved over the next couple of months, on April 24th, I was still experiencing leg pain up to a pain level of 3 and back pain. My physical therapist had stated prior, and also on that day that I may have to live with the pain for the rest of my life if I did not improve further; there was nothing else he could do. This led me to seeking help from Emi. I saw her twice and noticed a marked improvement and then went somewhat backwards after being treated by my physical therapist five days later.
I have been treated by Emi a third time and feel better after my aforementioned regression. She helped me get off of a potent pain killer. Although I am a believer in natural remedies, I have never needed to seek out a holistic healer. Her methods are gentle and soothing. Emi possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience and I recommend her highly. Patty
